Do you find yourself in a role where you bring people together as a group?

Do you lead meetings, community sessions, encourage learning, share ideas, solve problems or work collaboratively in your role?

Do you want to feel more confident and effective when facilitating groups?

Then this hands-on workshop is for you!

We all know the difference between a well-facilitated session and one that just doesn’t…work. Whether it’s a vague purpose, the 20-minute tangent, endless information sharing, running over time or simply stubborn disagreement- many of us see and navigate these challenges every day.

The good news is, we can all learn to be better facilitators.

Join Folket Consultancy and Lead Consultant Dr Danielle O’Hara to learn what it means to run effective facilitation that combines deliberate, purposeful design and technique with a good dose of creativity and improvisation.

What you will learn:

· Feel more confident and at ease when facilitating

· Build or expand your facilitation toolkit with new approaches and activities

· Develop strategies and skills to engage adult groups effectively

Some topics we will cover include:

· The difference between presenting, training, chairing and facilitating

· What adults bring to group learning and facilitation

· Practical techniques for creating sessions that are focused, productive and engaging

You will also receive a take-home checklist to use when designing your next facilitation session.

Who is the workshop for?

The workshop is tailored to benefit both beginners and experienced facilitators alike.

This course will also help leaders build their facilitation toolkit to ensure meetings and team collaborations are structured, productive, and engaging.
